Paula Abdul made a frantic and tearful 911 call during a Valentine’s Day drive with a boyfriend.
The call was made while Abdul was traveling as a passenger in a car on the 101 freeway near Santa Barbara, California. At one point Abdul tells the operator responding to the call, I want out of this car and he won’t let me.
According to TMZ, authorities contacted Abdul by phone an hour later and visited her home at night, but Abdul declined to file a police report. A rep for Abdul tells the website, Arguments with loved ones are often times heated.

Christina Aguilera’s public woes continued early Tuesday morning when the singer was arrested in Los Angeles.
After Rutler, 25, was observed driving erratically, cops pulled over his car, in which Aguilera was a passenger.
At 2:45 a.m., Rutler was arrested for driving under the influence and the Not Myself Tonight singer was booked on a misdemeanor charge of public intoxication.
Aguilera and Rutler were stopped on a West Hollywood street, and Sheriff’s Deputy Bill McSweeney said it was around 2:45am on Tuesday.

McSweeney revealed that Rutler was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence, while Aguilera was booked on suspicion of a misdemeanor for being extremely intoxicated.
McSweeney says Aguilera appeared extremely intoxicated and incapable of driving home,
so she was taken to the West Hollywood sheriff’s station and held until she sobered up.
A law enforcement source said: “If the driver had not been arrested for DUI, Christina would have never been in trouble.
