Norma Lopez Remains Missing
Norma Lopez remains missing after search efforts for Norma continued this weekend. Norma Lopez, a 17-year old resident of Moreno Valley, was last seen leaving Valley High School Thursday morning. Lopez attended the school for an early morning class from 8 to 10 am.
Matt Diaz of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department said in a statement Saturday “We don’t have any new updates right now But the search is actively continuing, and investigators are in the neighborhood walking and talking to people to try and find out more information.”
Without giving complete details, Sheriff officials told local news Saturday that they found belongings of her in a vacant near the family’s home near Moreno Beach Drive. They believe now that Norma was abducted. “There were indications of a possible struggle that may have occurred We’ve been working nonstop since she was reported missing”
Police are telling residents who have any information to call (951) 776-1099 or a tip line at (877) 242-4345. Norma is 5?7” and weighs 110 lbs. Norma was en route to meet with her sister. Police believe she is not a runaway. “I just wanted to say if you know anything about her, just contact us in any way,” says her sister.
